waiting on thunder love

by Rachel Lynch in

I wish you dreamed half as much as I do. I met you in the dead of winter. Your hands were as red as the skin on your lips. When you came into my studio from the pouring rain, it's like the Gods knew it was time to start things over again. And both of us, whether we knew it or not, were waiting on love. Silent motion. Late night, pour a little. I was bleached and you were dark as night. Sun-kissed skin for sun-kissed souls. You enjoyed watching life through the mirror of art, like myself. Playing around the edges and filling in the details as you wished. Leaving a blank space where there was nothing to fill. It was these little eccentricities that wrapped our souls together. We were running in life's youthfulness. I found a warm home in the cave of your chest, where the spirit runs through you. I hear it all in the center of my heart.

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8This pink Chaser Moto jacket is my ABSOLUTE favorite piece of the season. Do I even need to say that? You can tell right? I mean it's my soul in a jacket: Pink + Motorcycle + Fur = my spirit animal. So I paired it with my favorite pair of leather pants and my Brian Lichtenberg together as the perfect black base for this amazing creature jacket.

How would you wear this jacket?

SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC"I'll admit it. Watch your tone boy. Get hurt boy. Aww here go another mo'fucker that don't understand the concept of puttin' money first boy. I'm 'bout to hit you with the work boy. I hate comin' through stuntin' on bitches that I know.

You haven't been the man for like a minute. I told you that I'm in it for the long haul. You can really get the business. Got me feelin' like a ball hog, I don't pass 'em when I get it.

You too worried 'bout the bitches. I got one girl, and she my girl, and nobody else can hit it. It's a OVO come through murk thing. Bitches wouldn't make it on this side. I'm not new to this."

Happy Saturday bitches! I'm posted in my new Chi Flow bomber listening to the "6 God" drake song that just dropped, about to hit the gym. I hope you all have a killer weekend. I'm stoked to be moving out of Bushwick and into the East Village on Monday. I'll be packing all weekend. I can't wait to show you all my new Manhattan apartment!!

IMG_2969 IMG_2973 IMG_2974 IMG_2977 IMG_2988 IMG_3020 IMG_3038 IMG_3044One last spook for you all this weekend! I just adore this classic wildfox hooded bat sweater! It's so cozy. I decided to pair it with my checkered pants from Minty Jungle for a cozy afternoon movie look.

After we shoot these photos, Phil and I saw the movie, Gone Girl, which has to be one of the most thrilling movies I've seen in a long time. Brooklyn is so beautiful in the fall with all the leaves and city streets covered. There's something very cozy and home-like about it.

I hope you all have a really wonderful weekend! <3
