Golden Birthday

Turning 24 was golden in NYC

On June 24th, I turned 24 years old. My golden birthday. For the first time ever, I literally had not one photo from the night on my phone. Jen and I went right from shooting an editorial (soon to come) all day right into party mode. Actually, I think I had a bottle of champagne before the party arrived. Coupled with forgetting to eat for the day, and I was drunk by sunset.

I wish I had remember to document more, do more picture and snap worthy things, but it also says something. It says I was having too much fun in the moment to actually care about documenting it. So, so many of my friends came through that night, and that really meant the world to me. I was in and out of the bubble bath all night, and ordering room service fries up every half hour. I was told by my friends that I was drinking out of both the Rose bottle, and the Tequila bottle. Whatever... haha.

This second year of my life in NYC has been even more amazing than the first. Although I went through a hard time and some heartbreak, it's really proven to be for the best. I feel like I'm living so much every day, surrounded by so many people and so many things to do. I know this upcoming year is going to be the biggest for my blog and work yet. I'm going to be traveling more than I ever thought possible. I am so grateful for every opportunity, and the hard work, and all the playtime.

There is no place I'd rather be.
