On my second trip with Supercharge Agency, we flew down to St. Lucia for a week. I've always found the Caribbean inspiring - a place to create art. It's not that I don't see it as a place to have a drink and a swim (I did plenty of that also), but I can't help but feel inspired. A lot of famous artists spent time working in the Caribbean, including Hemingway and Ian Fleming.
My bedroom at Capella was just divine. Three of us slept in a huge penthouse at highest point of the hotel. My room was on the top floor, I felt like I was climbing in a treehouse every time I went up. The balcony view was incredible, I'd open the windows every morning and listen to some of my favorite spiritual teachers. I could see the entire Marigot Bay and watch the boats coming in and out of the harbor.
Each bed had an incredible white canopy, and I felt like a princess sleeping inside a tropical cocoon. Our group spent a lot of nights inside, cooking in the gorgeous huge kitchens each of our rooms had. We'd order chocolate and wine, and stay up just staring at the stars from our balconies.
It was a lot of late nights and early mornings, a lot of time spent in water. I went for a run everyday, and almost finished reading a book on the universe. There's something magical about learning about the natural world while being surrounded by it.
Thank you Capella for a gorgeous and inspiring stay - and all the rainbows.
