When you came into my studio from the pouring rain, it's like the Gods knew it was time to start things over again. And both of us, whether we knew it or not, were waiting on love. Silent motion. Late night, pour a little. I was bleached and you were dark as night. Sun-kissed skin for sun-kissed souls. You enjoyed watching life through the mirror of art, like myself. Playing around the edges and filling in the details as you wished. Leaving a blank space where there was nothing to fill. It was these little eccentricities that wrapped our souls together. We were running in life's youthfulness. I found a warm home in the cave of your chest, where the spirit runs through you. I hear it all in the center of my heart.

Here's a look I put together majorly with two items from Revolve. The first are these Vivienne Skinny Jeans I bought from Revolve by Siwy. They're so awesome, they are jeans on the top but leather on the legs. So it looks like a leather pant, but all the comfort and flexibility of a good quality jean in the waist and butt. Next, is this black and white jacket by I purchased from Revolve by Line & Dot. It's super puffy, but chic. It's got little vegan leather cuffs with cute buttons on them!
Finally, I topped this look off with a fab pair of Zero UV sunglasses and this horn necklace I am obsessed with fromThe Blue Hen. Also, my tee is a cheap black one by Brandy Melville. I love their stuff!

My first New Year's Even in Manhattan was fancy magic. I've been in LA for the past two years on NYE so it was wonderful to celebrate in my home city. My boyfriend and some of our friends headed to the Soho Grand to celebrate the night with Exit Magazine. The night of course included endless champagne (I require that) and beautiful decorations, ballons, a ginat clock, velvet seats and dancing. I don't think David and I got home until 4/4:30 am.. I can't really remember, haha! I wore a full length lace dress by Stone Cold Fox. I've literally been drooling over this dress and so happy I finally treated myself to it over Christmas. I actually wish I got way better photos of my dress, but I'm sure I'll shoot it for my blog soon.
I'm excited to start a New Year, can't believe this will be my blog's 6th year!! It's amazing to see how it's grown from just a personal pastime into an actual business. I have a feeling this is going to be my biggest year yet! Lucy's in the sky with diamonds. Lucy's high on the things she don't have. Her mind holds the key. There are flowers on the walls, and flowers in the window and flowers on the floor. Smashed petals blend into the leopard carpet, the spirit is lifted by the mere presence of another.
And she lives in magic, floating above it all. Nothing can touch her. It's all music, constant sounds and playing dress up. Wandering the streets of New York isn't as lonely as it seems, because she is filled with the perpetual desire to see more, do more, create more.
