where did the party go

by Rachel Lynch

"I know that I expect too much and not enough, all at once. Your name on the oujia board. My old aches become new again, my old friends become exes again. You and me are the difference between real love, and the love on TV."

London Hotel Lobby Bar #3 in C

by Rachel Lynch

Giving new meaning to the expression, "down for anything." You think it's alright to disco with strangers.

Two tickets in, and we wake up in London.

Each morning, I get to see the world a little bit more like you. The innumerable hours giving way to endless experience. The boundless amount of things to see. Making out in the back of black cabs, I see it all for the first time with your hand in mine. The air grows cold, as if it knew we were changing too. I traded my stay in bed club membership for a walk on the wild side.

But there's still plenty of time to stay in bed. I wake from nightmares in a sea of white sheets, happy to be next to you. The reality is better than the dream.

No one does it like you.

the confessor

by Rachel Lynch

You can feel it in the distance the deeper down you stare.
From up above it's hard to see, but you know when you're there.
On the bottom words are shallow.
On the surface talk is cheap.
You can only judge the distance by the company you keep
In the eyes of the Confessor.

inhaler

by Rachel Lynch

It's important to choose what and who you lose yourself to. To breath it all in, and exhale the excess. We take too much in hopes that we'll feel full, to suffuse the void of seasons changing. Nothing perfect is as permeant as it seems, and thats what makes it wonderful.

You break my mind and body down with promises, and I'll shrink to fit the vision. Spanish serenades and the need to be in water. Waking up in lofts on mattress on the floor. Take my love if it gets you through. I fell for a boy in a tattered leather jacket. I knew his initials but never his name.

golden hour in white

by Rachel Lynch

You guys know there's nothing I love more than a mini dress + thigh-high boot combo. So when Solestruck hit me up about rocking a pair of their shoes, I knew I had to pick these thigh-high Jeffrey Campbell boots.

I've had this white mini dress from Dolls Kill for a while but never had the perfect shoe to pair it with. I always find the long length of a thigh-high boot goes perfectly with a super mini dress. You can't beat it. The white with white makes me feel like a dressed up doll.

Anyways, check out all the wonderful shoes on solestruck and I hope you have a killer hump day.

Cavalier and careless in the west village. Forgetting to reply to texts, and finding new ways to navigate. You keep the ocean, and i'll take the lake.

platinum lolita

by Rachel Lynch

Little platinum lolita, bored in New York City with nothing to do. Baby doll soul lathered in rock n roll, she'll spin you round like a record.

And she recorded everything she did, and danced to the Kooks on Monday mornings. European vibes and almond milk in her coffee.

She came to his show just to see about his day. Little leopard coat and bare legs.

You know I'm always free. You know you can always come over.

Best Friends at NYFW

by Rachel Lynch

As fashion week comes to a close, I can't help but feel grateful. I couldn't image doing fashion week on my own. It's amazing to have a best friend and partner in crime at your side. Through all the parties, shows, events, and stress, you've got someone with you. Someone to push you when don't want to do anything, and someone to tell you if your outfit looks really basic.

Together, we did did two instagram takeovers and featured over fifteen brands at the different shows and parties. We made connections, created great content and got drunk.

I'd say fashion week well done. It wouldn't be the same without this babe by my side. Thank you!

champagne for my real friends, real pain for my sham friends

by Rachel Lynch

Break with tradition, alive in the process. When you let your art make you feel alive.

When you can talk your way out of anything. When you're crashing, but you're not tidal wave. When you're doe-eyed, tragic, hungover again.

What you do on your own time's just fine. And I wanna be alone, but I always find myself with you.

I'd rather waste our time together, cause we can get down.

H&M STUDIO A/W 2015

by Rachel Lynch

I was very pleased when I was asked to be a part of the H&M Studio A/W 2015 launch. I had the pleasure of wearing the look to my first day of New York Fashion week.

When they sent over the line sheets for the new collection, I had no choice but to request this AWESOME fur coat. I mean how cool are the cosmic sun burst vibes going on here? It's such a magical color. I also had to choose this amazing white ribbed tank and  these high waisted black leather pants. I'm a sucker for the white top/black leather combo I've been doing that look often with my black leather necklace! Such a perfect fall feel.

Anyways, check out the rest of the collection here. It's all really fun to mix and match and play with.
