Friday Nights at Hotel Chantelle

by Rachel Lynch

There's nothing like a summer night on the rooftop at Hotel Chantelle.

One of my best friends from childhood flew in to NYC for a wild weekend. I continued my birthday celebrations on Friday night with having all my friends come out to Hotel Chantelle for a night of polaroids, dancing and drinks on the rooftop.

It was so fun to just be silly and enjoy the warm weather and snap really fun photos. It's pretty hard taking polaroids in the dark, but we did our best and had an amazing night. We stayed out dancing until 5 AM and Hannah and I ended up heading home as the sun was rising.

It's pretty great to have weekends like this after such a busy travel schedule (that I'll have to be going back to soon.) If you're looking for a good place to go out/ get dinner in NYC, you know what I recommend now ; )

"give me love, or leave me alone"

I keep it down in my heart, and I keep on moving along. Give me love or leave me alone.

There's a few things we have to burn. Set our hearts ablaze. The skyline burned in reds I've never known.

Lord, wont you leave me? Leave me just like this, cause I belong to the ground now. I want no more than this. Can you protect me from what I want the most? The love I let in.

When the sun hit the earth, I left this place. I went up so high that it was impossible to fall, although I thought about falling the entire time. Some things you let go in order to live.

So much time on the other-side, waiting for you wake up. Maybe I'll see you in another life, if this one wasn't enough.

"see they runnin' with my old style"

"Who the baby blonde with the gold links? Got me reminiscin' 'bout my old days. Boomin' out the trap through the hallway. Tell me what you bitches know about, Auntie sayin' turn it down, or she finna call the cops. We be plottin' on the ops, she the one who got the drop.

They gon' take me back to my old ways. Now I gotta let 'em know who's really trill. Bitches talk down every now and then, but who gave em' style 9 times out of 10?"

happy friday bitches, get lit tonight

"I only call you when it's half past five, the only time that I'll be by your side."

Your man on the road, he doin' promo. You said, "Keep our business on the low-low." I'm just tryna get you out the friend zone, cause you look even better that the photos.

I only call you when it's half past five. The only time that I'll be by your side. I only love it when you touch me, not feel me. When I'm fucked up, that's the real me.

all i need

by Rachel Lynch

"All I need to feel happiness is to be completely cut open."

All I need to feel happiness is to be vulnerable. To be completely cut open. To be able, at any moment, to sacrifice who I am for who I will become.

There's something much bigger going on here. Bigger than you and me.

And whatever it is, makes me feel powerful beyond belief. The selfless ability to wear my heart wide open everyday. To let everything in and feel it so completely. I have been swallowed whole, but I never stay in the belly of the beast.

My heartbeat matches the beat of the universe and I can't help but find it all so incredibly worth it.

Yet despite how open, peaceful and loving you attempt to be, people can only meet you as deeply as they've met themselves.

now's the only time i know

"Walking out into the sea. What's forsaken, I do not need."

Bright blonde hair and eyelash. Reappear, in a flash. There is more I'd like to know.

Walking upon the shores, I have been here many times before. It would be too easy to say I feel invisible. But I am the same as the sands and the sea.

The day breaks in my heart. Sitting upon the shore, I burn sage and palo santo. I remember souls past. The day was so long. Spirit walks. I cover my hands with drawings and my chest with crystals. Maybe I will dream again.

6:15, then I'm gone. Quiet walk into the sea. Through the waters, through the sands.

Now's the only time I know.

NBD X I Hate Blonde

Summertime champagne at Cafe Colette.

Thanks to my friends at Lovers + Friends LA, I was sent a few pieces from their sister line, NBD. A lot of you have been asking on my instagram and my last blog post where this red jacket is from. Well, here you go, it's from NBD.

I've been wearing this romper so much, as well as the jacket (obviously.) They're really nicely made pieces that can be casual or dressed up. The biker jacket is good for summer nights or cooler summer days in the Hamptons.

You can shop the looks directly below on Revolve!

Rocking a Deandri two-piece set in Williamsburg.

Last week I hung out in Williamsburg with my good friend Christina and shot some looks. I'm in love with this little set the Deandri girls gifted me while I was out in LA. Whenever I show up at their shop, they always shower me in such amazing pieces. They've just opened a store in downtown LA, so if you're out that way you should check it out. It's filled with magical witchcraft things, incense, candles, dolls, skulls, and of course, their amazing clothes.

I love the sets they make and how they pair them with huge chokers. Whenever I wear my Deandri dresses or two-pieces, I always get compliments. They've created such an iconic look for girls everywhere.

third eye

by Rachel Lynch

arcturian1.jpg

There's a hole where you heart lies, and I can see it with my third eye.

Awareness cannot be limited to the third dimension, so I began to see the realities of many dimensions. I woke to the perspective of source consciousness, the spell is broken.

I pulled myself out of slumber and into a third eye opening. Every chakra color lit up, and I could see that light radiating out from my body. I met you in my rose-colored aura, radiating light pink from my fingertips. I looked to my left and saw everything as it is, the entire universe existing all at once. I looked to my right and saw the auras of the plants outside and everyone I loved.

And meanwhile, more of us were falling from space. The earth experience awaits, like a kiss upon the lips. We incarnate here and now it's all coming through. We ascend only to come back into our earthly awareness, but the amnesia is over. Though we can transcend this dimension, we actually begin to see the value in it. Instead of being exempt from things, it's like we're more awake than ever. Third eye opens now into a crystal blue sea.

So much time on the other-side, waiting for you to wake up.

Maybe I'll see you in another life, if this one wasn't enough. But there's a hole where your heart lies, and I can see it with my third eye.

when i go

by Rachel Lynch

"when i go, can I go with you"

When I go can I go with you. Sunrise reflects through our room on rose quartz. We dive back into the dreamworld dimension, but fully aware. Anything we want is possible in this reality. I dream of you in colors unimaginable. If I found a word for them, they would lose their meaning entirely.

Love consciousness and the loneliness that follows. Open roses on the dead sea. We are forever changing form, forever shifting, forever intertwined with everything and anyone we've ever loved.
