spirit defined

by Rachel Lynch

spirit rises up to carry us where our character falls short. your character is a series of choices, but your spirit has lived over and over again with a mission, a divine purpose, why make light of something like that?

why play it safe when you could make things better wherever you are? one soul in their power allows another one to be, and so on.

the excellence of human society is extremely simple, yet we fall from grace repeatedly.

we allow valleys where we should be taking up space, we focus on the future, creating anxieties where there should be serenity.

there is something strange in me that has never though about what would happen next, i am always focused on creating beauty in the now.

time stands still against passion, it is no match for the way it dances between galaxies and restores broken hearts.

why accept limitations when you were born on fire.

return to the chateau

by Rachel Lynch

she was a woman of many lovers and a myriad of interests. philosophy, french, classic literature and arabic to name a few. she danced on her toes, and seldom opened up to people. she favored the people in books, the scenarios in her mind. no one was quite as wild as her, she moved through time like it wasn’t linear. who wants to be defined by their past anyway? why not be reborn again with each new person you meet. that’s what she did, her life was a series of baptisms suspended between new faces.

to make alive again all the people that were once so passed away between the synapses, an angel on fire.
