wildfox saturday in the sun

by Rachel Lynch in

Morning run giving way to a Saturday in the sun. Fresh coffee & a cozy knit over your favorite bedroom set. Feeling the sun on your collarbones and nose. It leaves soft freckles on your skin. You're reading Lolita and writing down everything in your dream notebook. A collection of rings on your fingers, each one holds a different story.

The day will be what you make it, it's only 10AM and you've been up like the sun for hours. Under the trees and near the flowers, everything feels possible, everything feels like love. You throw on a teeshirt dress and some boots and hop in your friends car for an adventure in hollywood. You're in love, you're in California.

manhattan

by Rachel Lynch in , , ,

The hotel above and the street below. Apartment filled with the ghosts of the friends we used to know. In and out, going on and on. Stranded and strange right in the center of it.

Losing my touch, out of time. Hide from who you can. In this world, I found out that love leaves. Yes, I once had a great love. A big love. But I shook it from my hair, just like everything else. You say you've got nothing to hide, you and your secret life.

You've got your secret on. Wanting to live all the time, and then slip right out of it.

Don't look at the moon tonight, you can never be manhattan.

East Village Amour

I'm in amour with the black jacket from Zaful. It's so chic and easy to wear. I love it over my shoulders with a pair of black leather skinnes. In this look, I'm a wearing a floral-fitting mini dress by Zaful as well. How do you guys feel about the jacket over the dress? I know I love it with pants, but I think it's kind of chic over a dress as well -- you know, for a lunch or dinner date. How would you wear these two pieces? I think the floral dress might even look good with thigh-high black boots and the jacket as well.

Much love

I HATE BLONDE X NYLON TV

by Rachel Lynch in

Hey babes! Stoked to let you all know that last week I made a super silly video with NYLON TV, you can check it here. I hope it makes you laugh, or whatever! Anyways.. sorry I haven't been posting much. I'm in LA living in a hippie oasis in Silverlake, sleeping on the floor in a sun-drenched guest house, and waking up to coffee outside in a beautiful backyard. I needed a break from the craziness that is New York City living. I'm so excited to be in LA for another week, making magic and working with amazing brands. My job is pretty much the best job in the world, and I am so grateful.

I HATE BLONDE X MINTY JUNGLE

by Rachel Lynch in

So yesterday I payed a visit to the Minty Jungle showroom in Downtown Los Angeles. The office was in a new dank building filled with magical pastel-haired pixies. Everyone there was such a dream and I was delighted to see all their awesome new Simpsons and McDonald's inspired pieces. We shot a bit around their office and showroom, so these images are a bit of a sneak peek behind what Minty Jungle is. You can shop the looks I'm wearing via the links below!

So much more LA goodness to come, my style feels like it's home.

BRITISH BOMBSHELL

I'm working on a cocktail called "grounds for divorce." Combine whiskey and a wanderlust and you've got the stage for a playful evening. Getting uncomfortable and dancing around in the candle light to interpol. Melting ice and music. She's in love and she's lost.

i'm into you

by Rachel Lynch in , ,

"I got a feeling we are gonna win. Our bodies make it perfect and your eyes can make me swim. Then again everything seems new, I can barely hold my tongue, to say the least, I'm into you.

And our eyes are saying more than we can talk, and warmer than our bedroom sport. And your thighs are kisses from the outside, girl that's all I need.

I'll take you down the other road, to breathe in something more. I'll find it harder to ignore the things I want you for.

The rhythm was all I needed to hear, a woman can treat my heart. When I press up an ear up to you, I can hear the rhythm start, it's hard to tell our beats apart.

So I hope you're listening right now, cause I can barely hold my tongue the shit we do could warm the sun.

At night twisted in a melting fall and sleeping with the scratching claws. And your words, let me know you're feeling me and seeing all the things I see."

almost blonde

by Rachel Lynch in

A peek into my most recent wandering and adventure, St. Marks has always been a favorite of mine. This small section of street between 2nd and 3rd Avenue feels like one of the most alive places in New York to me. Before I lived here, I used to get a soy chai and wander with my disposable camera and snap pictures of all the buildings. Now I can walk out my door in a super funky outfit and I'm already there.

This coat is a synthesis of everything I could ever want in a coat, it reminds me of the #ihateblonde version of the coat Kate Hudson wears in the movie, "Almost Famous." One of my all time favorite films! She looked like such a cool character in it, and I guess that's how this coat makes me feel. That's the fun thing about wandering New York, you can dress up as anybody you want to be on any given day. Whoever said, "New York is real-world runway" was correct.
