The Ace Hotel

IMG_6004IMG_6018IMG_6019IMG_60201200There were a few pieces that I had sent to me for Fashion Week that I didn’t get a chance to wear. This teal dress from Missguided is one of them. I really love the cut of the top, probably my favorite part of the dress aside from the color. I decided to pair it with a bunch of my weird alien rings and a simple gold charm necklace.

I enjoyed an afternoon coffee at the Ace Hotel in the West Village. It’s really such a lovely place to just hang and work.

All dolled-up in straps. All city and black. Monocromatic. I think I saw you getting off the subway. You looked happy for a woman. Black fingers in your mouth and a white pearl choker. My head plays it over and over. I think I saw you walking in the city, hips like a boy’s. The sun fell behind you and never stood up.

All dolled-up in straps, all colored in.

I HATE BLONDE IN NYLON JAPAN

I Hate Blonde I Hate Blonde I Hate Blonde I Hate Blonde I Hate Blonde I Hate Blonde I Hate Blonde I Hate Blonde I Hate Blonde I Hate BlondeI am happy to announce that these photos Brittanny shot of me are this month’s NYLON Japan! They wanted to do a feature on my “character” obsession which is Barbie, of course. Pictured is my Barbie backpack, that I actually take to yoga and acting class with me daily. I also have a variety of Barbie mugs at home that I use for tea! I’ve been obsessed with Barbie since I was a little girl and she’s definitely a huge style inspiration for me! I remember going to target and feeling so excited to get new dolls with my Mom! My sisters and I used to have a Barbie room in the basement, where we all had our big Barbie Dream Houses and families, and cars, and clothes! It was like a little magical world of our own.

Anyways, hope you guys enjoy and pick up a copy if you can! This is my second time in the Nylon Japan magazine and I look forward to so many more project with them and their killer kawaii aesthetic!
