Here it is! You can officially get the first product from my new clothing line, Blonde DNA. I’m wearing the “sick muscle tee.” It’s unisex, obviously. I wanted to make something that both bad blonde boys and girls could wear. Of course there is a lot more coming, but I just couldn’t resist giving you guys a little taste! I really love this first tee, mostly for what it says. I’ve also always been into muscle tees, I think they’re sexy on girls and hot on boys. Wear it with your leather pants and tallest platforms.

Hi Rachel! Congrats on the launch of your new clothing line. It seems like you have evolved pretty far from “Lush Carnal”, though I think that would make an interesting sub-company for more feminine looks. Just a couple of quick questions from a fellow fashion designer; I was excited to see your process with introducing a clothing line, but it seems like your first item (the muscle tee) wasn’t hand sewn or hand printed. Were the original dresses you made for Lush Carnal sewn by yourself (I assumed they were)? Seeing how this is a “line” and not a “shop”, are you going to be hand making all of your items from now on? How are you acquiring your own prints and textiles? Have you taken an official course on sewing and design, or are you hiring a designer/manufacturer to do so for you?
Sorry for all the questions! I just know you have a secondary shop, so it didn’t make much sense to be re-selling some of your clothing as both your “line” and in your second hand site. Can’t wait to see what your style leads to next!
(P.S: NEVER CHANGE YOUR BROWS. EVER. They are fucking bomb. Also I hope you are taking care of yourself, and keeping up on your vitamins and nutrition. I have recently been obsessed with coconut oil — it has done wonders for not only my physique, but it’s a godsend for hair and skin!)

I’ve got someone doing production for me, I am the designer. I used to sew all the pieces myself but right now i’m focusing on creating graphics myself. This is much more suited to my interested right now. This does not mean I won’t go back into draping and sewing.

If anyone buying designed for looks they are nice. I decided to buy them for my spouse and this girl loves these.
